Woody Allen’s Magic In The Moonlight

The Twenties were the beginning of freedom – fashion was no longer dictated by aristocrats, but by film stars, artists, painters, writers, photographers, jazz, all looking for new forms of expression in that wonderful nerve centre that was Paris during those years,” dijo Grande.

Me gustaría poder reconstruir esos vestidos y complementos y quizás tener la ocasión de llevarlos.

What to see and where to go: Florence

With Pitti Uomo closing yesterday, many of you will spend the weekend in Florence… Excellent decision!!

I will give you my favourite addresses of my hometown Firenze:

1. Visit the center and the main squares but also the small streets that make you feel like you are traveling across time: Piazza Della Signoria and Palazzo Vecchio, the Duomo, Santa Croce square, Tornabuoni street – the main shopping area. You cannot miss the Uffizi Museum and the Accademia for the David of Michelangelo. For shopping addicts I also recommend the Gucci Museum 🙂

2. Piazzale Michelangelo and San Miniato Church. Walk until Forte Belvedere and have a drink or a walk in Villa Bardini (if it is open);

3. Visit the Boboli garden and the Bardini park;

4. For some luxury shopping at the best price, go to The mall (you need to go by car or organized tours). In the center go to the famous Luisa Via Roma store;

6. Best Cafe in town: Paskzosky, Revoire, Giacosa Cavalli;

7. Lunch and aperitivo: Zoe, Rifrullo, Lungarno 23, Hotel Excelsior, Obika, Harry’s Bar, I fratellini, Fusion, Procacci, Colle Bereto.

Menorca never lets us down

Especially in May you can take the most out of this paradise!
Beaches are almost empty but the sun shines and you can go the best restaurants without waiting, what else do you want?

Santiago de Chile… A modern metropolis at the Andes’ feet

Neoclassical architecture, art deco, neo-gothic, brand new skyscrapers… Santiago’s cityscape is shaped by several styles, surrounded by many hills (cerros) and the spectacular view of the Andes chain (visible from several parts of the city).

I found Santiago very polyvalent: you can find either big avenues that remind any big North American city, streets in which you want to escape fast, bohemian neighborhoods, fast food chains and local artisans.

We live in a very good area of Santiago, called Las Condes (el golf).

As always, here my list of to dos 🙂

What to visit:

– Plaza de las Armas and the cathedral
– Palacio de la Moneda
– Palacio de Bellas Artes
– Lastarria neighborhood
– Cerro Santa Lucia
– Cerro San Cristobal
– Pablo Neruda’s house-museum

Some people can suggest to go to the Central Market, but personally that visit didn’t like me at all (mainly because of the fish smell)… So up to you 🙂

Restaurants

Food is nothing special to be honest but eventually you can find good places to eat as well.
I recommend the area of Bellavista where you can find many places to eat and drink, for example Como agua para chocolate
My favourite restaurant is Osaka, Isidora Goyenechea 3000…

It has been a long time since my last post and I am very sorry… many reasons but no excuses! I will try to do my best to regain.
I haven’t travelled that much in this last period, a part from Madrid, Milan, Munich and Paris but I will give you some tips on how to move along these fabulous European cities.

I also did some cool shopping, took part to some events and got a lot of groovy ideas.
But first of all, I will share some of my latest looks.

Ademas me fui de compras, participé a unos eventos y he recolectado muchas ideas.
Pero primero, quiero compartir unos looks de esta temporada.

Paris Fashion Week: Chanel dominates

And Chanel arrives… With the Paris Fashion week on the way to its end, this morning Chanel and Karl Lagerfeld impressed with an explosion of unlinked clothes on the background of the monumental Grand Palais: art, surreal atmosphere, denim, socks-shoes, backpacks and much more.
